Uterus Disease


Uterus is the place where a baby grows, if you have a uterine disease, the first sign may be bleeding between periods or after sex. Causes of abnormal bleeding include hormones, thyroid problem, fibroid, polyps, cancer, infection or pregnancy.Another uterine problem are endometrosis and adenomyosis. 


Fibroids:  Bleeding, pressure, pelvic pain, pressure on the bladder with frequent or even obstructed urination and pressure on the rectum with pain during defecation.


Endometrosis: the kind of tissue that lines grows outside the uterus.


Adenomyosis: the tissue grows in the uterus’s outer walls.

Irregular menstruation:

  • Excessive weight loss or gain

  • Eating disorders

  • Increased exercise

  • Emotional stress

  • Hormonal problems

  • Perimenopause or menopause

PMS (Premenstrual syndrome):

  • Cramps, tender breast, bloating, mood swings and headache.

  • Skin problem, anxiety, anger and depression


The causes of uterine disease, according to Asian Traditional medicine, are " liver qi stagnation" ,"Dampness" "yin & yang imbalance" There are many studies which provided evidences and theories for treating these gynecological conditioning using acupuncture and herbal medicine. A few clinical studies on patients with endometrosis treated with different TCM formula have shown effectiveness 58%~91%.
